Welcome to my semester in Australia!

Hi Everyone! In order to help keep friends and family back home up to date with how I'm doing, and what I'm doing here in Australia, I've decided to create this convenient little blog for you to bookmark and keep checking. I figure it will be easier than e-mails, and has the added advantages of not filling up your inbox, and displaying beautiful photos. :-D I am going to try to keep this updated regularly, at least weekly if I am unable to keep my goal of daily. I'll post some of the photos of cool things I see and do so it won't be as boring and you won't have to use your imagination as much. I like birds, and whenever I can get a picture of a bird, there's a good chance I'll be posting that, so be warned. :) Today is July 6th, 2006 (Canberra time), but I am going to try to start from the beginning, and label the posts accordingly, instead of just jumping right into things after a week has already passed.
